Amelia’s Pov

He looks so cute when he is asleep, I have a feeling the rumours about him might not be true at all or he can be sweet and cold at the same time.

I sat close to him to admire him the more, “Red seems we are lucky to be his mate.”

“Oh yes we are, I am so tired Amelia, I am feeling so dizzy, why don’t you catch some sleep and hope tomorrow will be great.”

“Good night Red, I am not feeling sleeping yet.”

“Okay then, I know you so well with your insomnia, I am glad I am not a human that battles with it but just keep looking at our handsome mate or get a book and read till you fall asleep, good night now.”

I smiled, I think the reason I don’t sleep at night is because of the way my parents treated me, I am always the last to go to bed and the first to wake up.

I guess it got so used to me and now I just need to walk around till I feel dizzy.

I stepped out of the room going to feel my eyes outside the living room.

My jaw dropped, the environment looks so beautiful at night and I can not stop loving it all.

The fireflies, I only saw them once when I was still a kid but now I got the opportunity to see them again.

A hand gripped me suddenly from behind and I struggled with it and the eye I saw was like a rainbow, I have never seen such before in my life.

“Who are you and why do you have the last bloodline royal birthmark on your back?”

“Let me go.”

“Amelia.” I heard Simon voice rushing to me as he seized the male wolf with just a grip and it pushed him off again.

“What the hell is this thing?” I asked.

“A Monster wolf that got cursed generation years back, don’t look at his eyes for your safety.”

I got shocked, I remember when I heard my dad and the Alpha of our pack discussing about the new threat called the Monster Wolf, whenever it shifts or the eyes changes without turning into a wolf, it lose control and become a monster but when it becomes human, it forgets about everything that took place.

“Guards get more silver, how did a monster wolf get in here?” The beta roared and the next thing the Monster wolf came after me gripping me by the neck, I struggled with it and no other wolves were able to stop him, I could feel Red growling inside of me as my eyes changed into yellow with my claws out as I removed his hands at once taking him from the ground and throwing him off.

I howl out so loud and jumped in his direction about digging his heart out when my mate held my hands saying, “I am here now love, it’s okay, he is just a kid that is learning how to control the monster in him.”

My eyes turned to normal and I felt so weak, I hate getting angry like this and I fell in his arms, sleeping already.

Lorde’s Pov

I woke up when I sense danger then I recalled the little boy I saved and had him locked up every night when the full moon is out so he will shift without hurting anyone but I forgot to do so tonight and it’s the full moon.

I was shocked to see Amelia I thought was cool to be strong like me, I had to stop her cause I know she was about to dig his heart out.

Instantly she fell asleep in my arms, I had to carry her to the room and place her on the bed, I kissed her forehead before going out to settle the tension in the air.

“Micah, how are you feeling?” I said to the 18 years old kid who became normal as he started crying and shaking, “I didn’t mean to harm anyone.”

“It’s okay, it’s time to sleep, we talk better in the morning,” I ordered one of my guards to take him to a room I directed.

“Lorde you mean to tell me you brought a threat to our home?” Simon asked been so surprised.

“He is just a kid and with time, he will be able to control himself whenever he shifts.”

“I won’t be surprised if I get to see a vampire in here or a hybrid.”

“I was thinking of getting one, by the way, I guess your blood will taste so nice, what do you think.”

“Hey.” He hits me, about to hit him mom yelled.

“Son that monster can’t stay in this house with us, he almost harmed Amelia, your mate.”

“Mom Amelia was able to defend herself so do not worry, remember she was chosen to be my mate by the moon goddess, it’s hard to harm a Supreme Luna.”

“But at least you could have informed us about it, what if it attacked someone else? A wolf would have died in our home.”

“Do not worry mom, he will be leaving tomorrow morning to a school that can teach him how to control his wolf form, all he needs is acceptance okay? Now everyone it’s past midnight let’s go to bed.”

“You know what son, you owe me a big cake for ruining my sleep with the monster you brought here.”

“Okay mom, I will order them for you tomorrow, now get some rest.”

“Simon I wonder how you became his best friend.” Mom said before leaving.

“Your mom is right, I am still thinking about it, you are so unpredictable, I need to start checking the environment before sleeping next time.”

“You better do, who knows I might be the one that will come after you.”

“I will gladly welcome you but that’s by the way, I noticed something strange about your mate.”

We walked to the living room together, “What is that?”

“What pack did you say she is from?”

“Blue Moon Pack, hope no problem at all?”

I entered my room and saw my angel sleeping peacefully.

What exactly might be wrong with her eyes? I hope it’s not something I should overwork myself with.

I laid on the bed and in a few seconds she turned to hold me, I couldn’t stop smiling as I slept in the comfort of her hands around me.
