“I understand. I may not like it, but I know I only have myself to blame for this whole situation.” Smokey sighed.

“You knew things were getting confused earlier. And he’s been there for me this whole time. He’s kind and caring. And it’s nice to be the center of someone’s world with no fear of trust.” Sam explained.

“I know. He’s a good guy. I may be jealous as hell you’re with him, but I’m also thankful you have him to take care of you while I can’t.” Smokey replied.

“We’re not sleeping together. We decided to not do that until I can decide what I really want to do moving forward.” Sam explained.

Smokey looked relieved. “If you decide to be with him, will you move to his town?”

“No. My friends, job and baby’s dad are here.” Sam answered. “I’d never keep your child from you, no matter if we’re together or not.”

“Thank you.” Smokey whispered. “I love you and take care of you and our baby.”

“I promise I will.” Sam kissed his cheek before she left.

Sam decided to go surprise Lucas at his clubhouse. She wanted to tell him about her talk and felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Knowing she needed to explore her feelings in order to move on. What the future held she was unsure. She walked into the clubhouse and saw Hawk.

“Hey Hawk. Where is he?” She asked.

“Office.” Hawk nodded towards the hallway.

Sam walked to his office and stopped at the door. The door was partially open. She heard arguing.

“Look Babs, I told all of you that I’m done with all of you club whores. Have been for a while. You either accept it or leave.” Snake growled.
